CONVERSATION 1 (ABY 1B – UNIT 13)

اَلْمُوَظَّفُ: أَيُّ خِدْمَةٍ؟ The employee: Any service?

اَلْمُوَظَّف: أَيّ خِدْمَة؟

اَلْمُسَافِرُ: لَدَيَّ حَجْزٌ إِلَى جِدَّةَ، وَأُرِيدُ تَأْكِيدَ الْحَجْزِ.

The traveler: I have a booking to Jeddah, and I want to confirm the booking.

اَلْمُسَافِر: أَنَا عِنْدِي حَجْز لِجِدَّة، وَعَايِز أَأَكِّد الْحَجْز.

اَلْمُوَظَّفُ: هَلْ الْحَجْزُ عَلَى الْخُطُوطِ السَّعُودِيَّةِ؟

The employee: Is the booking on Saudi Airlines?

اَلْمُوَظَّف: الْحَجْز عَلَى الْخُطُوط السُّعُودِيَّة وَلَّا إِيه؟

اَلْمُسَافِرُ: لَا، هُوَ عَلَى الْخُطُوطِ الْإِنْدُونِيسِيَّةِ.

The traveler: No, it is on Indonesian Airlines.

اَلْمُسَافِر: لَأ، دَه عَلَى الْخُطُوط الْإِنْدُونِيسِيَّة

اَلْمُوَظَّفُ: أَيْنَ التَّذَاكِرُ؟

The employee: Where are the tickets?

اَلْمُوَظَّف: فِين التَّذَاكِر؟

اَلْمُسَافِرُ: هَذِهِ هِيَ التَّذَاكِرُ: تَذْكِرَتِي، وَتَذْكِرَةُ زَوْجَتِي، وَتَذْكِرَةُ ابْنِي، وَتَذْكِرَةُ بِنْتِي.

The traveler: These are the tickets: my ticket, my wife's ticket, my son's ticket, and my daughter's ticket.

اَلْمُسَافِر: أَهِي التَّذَاكِر أَهِي: تَذْكِرْتِي، وَتَذْكِرَة مَرْاتِي، وَتَذْكِرَة اِبْنِي، وَتَذْكِرَة بِنْتِي.

اَلْمُوَظَّفُ: وَأَيْنَ جَوَازَاتُ السَّفَرِ؟

The employee: And where are the passports?

اَلْمُوَظَّف: وَفِين جَوَازَات السَّفَر؟

اَلْمُسَافِرُ: هَذِهِ هِيَ جَوَازَاتُ السَّفَرِ.

The traveler: These are the passports.

اَلْمُسَافِر: أَهِي جَوَازَات السَّفَر أَهِي.

اَلْمُوَظَّفُ: أَيْنَ تَأْشِيرَةُ الْخُرُوجِ؟

The employee: Where is the exit visa?

اَلْمُوَظَّف: فِين تَأْشِيرَة الْخُرُوج؟

اَلْمُسَافِرُ: هَذِهِ تَأْشِيرَةُ الْخُرُوجِ، وَهَذِهِ تَأْشِيرَةُ الدُّخُولِ.

The traveler: This is the exit visa, and this is the entry visa.

اَلْمُسَافِر: أَهِي تَأْشِيرَة الْخُرُوج أَهِي، وَأَهِي تَأْشِيرَة الدُّخُول.

اَلْمُوَظَّفُ: الرِّحْلَةُ رَقْمُ ٧٧٧. تُغَادِرُ الطَّائِرَةُ السَّاعَةَ الثَّالِثَةَ فَجْرًا. اُحْضُرْ إِلَى الْمَطَارِ قَبْلَ سَاعَتَيْنِ.

The employee: The flight number is 777. The plane departs at thirteen in the morning. Arrive at the airport two hours before.

اَلْمُوَظَّف: الرِحْلَة رَقَم سَبْعمِيَّة سَبْعَة وَسَبْعِين. الطَّيَّارَة هَاتِمْشِي السَّاعَة تَلَتَاشَر. تَعَالَى الْمَطَار قَبْل سَاعَتِين.

اَلْمُسَافِرُ: شُكْراً.

The traveler: Thank you.

اَلْمُسَافِر: شُكْراً.

اَلْمُوَظَّفُ: رِحْلَةً سَعِيدَةً.

The employee: Have a nice trip.
