CONVERSATION 1 (ABY 1A – UNIT 8)

عُثْمَان: أَعْمَلُ طَبِيباً، مَاذَا تَعْمَلُ أَنْتَ؟ Uthman: I work as a doctor, what do you work as?

عُثْمَان: أَنَا بَشْتَغِل دُكْتُور، إِنتَ بِتِشْتَغِل إِيه؟

عَلِيّ: أَعْمَلُ مُهَنْدِساً.

Ali: I work as an engineer.

عَلِيّ: أَنَا بَشْتَغِل مُهَنْدِس.

عُثْمَان: أَيْنَ تَعْمَلُ؟

Uthman: Where do you work?

عُثْمَان: إِنتَ بِتِشْتَغِل فِين؟

عَلِيّ: أَعْمَلُ فِي شَرِكَةٍ، وَأَيْنَ تَعْمَلُ أَنْتَ؟

Ali: I work in a company, and where do you work?

عَلِيّ: أَنَا بَشْتَغِل فِي شِرْكَة، وَإِنتَ بِتِشْتَغِل فِين؟

عُثْمَان: أَعْمَلُ فِي الْمُسْتَشْفَى.

Uthman: I work in the hospital.

عُثْمَان: أَنَا بَشْتَغِل فِي المُسْتَشْفَى.

عَلِيّ: كَمْ سَاعَةً تَعْمَلُ فِي الْيَوْمِ؟

Ali: How many hours do you work in a day?

عَلِيّ: بِتِشْتَغِل كَم سَاعَة فِي الْيُوم؟

عُثْمَان: أَعْمَلُ ثَمَانِيَ سَاعَاتٍ فِي الْيَوْمِ.

Uthman: I work eight hours in a day.

عُثْمَان: أَنَا بَشْتَغِل تَمَان سَاعَات فِي الْيُوم.

عَلِيّ: وَكَمْ سَاعَةً تَعْمَلُ أَنْتَ؟

Ali: And how many hours do you work?

عَلِيّ: وَإِنتَ بِتِشْتَغِل كَم سَاعَة؟

عُثْمَان: أَعْمَلُ سَبْعَ سَاعَاتٍ.

Uthman: I work seven hours.

عُثْمَان: أَنَا بَشْتَغِل سَبْع سَاعَات.

عُثْمَان: هَلْ تُحِبُّ عَمَلَكَ؟

Uthman: Do you like your work?

عُثْمَان: إِنتَ بِتِحِب شُغْلَك؟

عَلِيّ: نَعَمْ، أُحِبُّ عَمَلِي.

Ali: Yes, I like my work.

عَلِيّ: أَيْوَة، أَنَا بِحِب شُغْلِي.

عُثْمَان: وَأَنَا أُحِبُّ عَمَلِي أَيْضاً.

Uthman: And I like my work too.

عُثْمَان: وَأَنَا كَمَان بِحِب شُغْلِي.
