Dear readers who may Allah bless you all, this is part of an English lesson using Arabiya Baina Yadaik 1B as a handbook. This lesson is taken from Unit 12, Conversation 1. We are about to break down the Arabic conversation by word, translate it into English, and answer the questions. I use this as a teaching material at At-Taqwa Quranic School of Sukoharjo.

CONVERSATION IN ENGLISH

Shaker: What are your hobbies, Sherif? Sherif: My hobbies are many: reading, traveling, and correspondence.  What are your hobbies? Shaker: My hobbies: sports, trips, and reading, too. Sherif: What do you read, Shaker? Shaker: I read Islamic books and magazines.  What do you read? Sharif: I read Islamic books and scientific magazines. Shaker: Do you have a library? Sherif: Yes, I have a big library. Shaker: How many hours do you read in a day? Sharif: I read around three hours. Shaker: I read four hours a day.
