It uses Arabiya Baina Yadaik 1B as the handbook that I have translated into English with the hope that students who have already been familiar with Arabic, they will find it easier to learn the English one.

شهاب: هَذَا هُوَ مَعْرِضُ الهوايات.

مَعْرِضُ: exhibition

الهوايات: hobbies

شُعَيْبٍ: هَذِهِ هِوَايَاتٌ كَثِيرَةٌ جِدّاً.

كَثِيرَةٌ: many

جِدّاً: so

شِهَابٍ: هَذَا جَناحُ جَمْعِ الطَّوَابِعِ.

جَناحُ: pavilion

جَمْعِ: collection

الطَّوَابِعِ: stamp

شُعَيْبٍ: هَذِهِ طَوابِعُ جَمِيلَةٌ. هَذَا طَابَعٌ هِنْدِيٌّ، وَهَذَا طَابَعٌ فَرَنْسي.

جَمِيلَةٌ: beautiful

طَابَعٌ هِنْدِيٌّ: Indian stamps

طَابَعٌ فَرَنْسي: French stamps

شهاب: وهَذا جَناحُ الخَطِّ العربي.

جَناحُ: pavilion

الخَطِّ العربي: Arabic calligraphy

شُعَيْبٍ: هَذِهِ كَلِمَاتٌ بِخَطِّ النَّسْخِ، وَتِلكَ كَلِمَاتٌ بِخَطْ الرقعة.

كَلِمَاتٌ: words

بِخَطِّ النَّسْخِ: in Naskh Script

بِخَطْ الرقعة: in Ruk'ah Script

شهاب: وهَذا جَناحُ الصَّحافَةِ. 

الصَّحافَةِ: newspaper

شُعَيْبٍ: وَهَذِهِ صُحُفٌ بِجَمِيعِ اللُّغَاتِ

بِجَمِيعِ: in multiple

اللُّغَاتِ: languages

شهاب: وهَذا جَناحُ التدبير المَنْزِلي.

التدبير المَنْزِلي: housekeeping

شُعَيْبٍ: هَذَا طَعَامٌ صِينِيٌّ، وهَذا طَعَامٌ عَرَبِيٌّ.

طَعَامٌ صِينِيٌّ: Chinese food

طَعَامٌ عَرَبِيٌّ: Arabian food

شهاب: وهذا جَناحُ الرياضة.

الرياضة: sports

شُعَيْب: كُرَةُ القَدَمِ والسِّباحَةُ، والفُرُوسِيَّةُ.

كُرَةُ القَدَمِ: football

السِّباحَةُ: swimming

B. CONVERSATION TRANSLATION

شهاب: هَلْ زُرْتَ مَعْرِضَ الهواياتِ؟

Shehab: Did you visit the hobby exhibition?

شُعَيْب: لا ، ما زُرْتُهُ، هيا بنا إِلَيْهِ.

Shuaib: No, I haven’t visited it. Let’s go there.

شهاب: هَذَا هُوَ مَعْرِضُ الهوايات.

Shehab: This is the hobby exhibition.

شُعَيْبٍ: هَذِهِ هِوَايَاتٌ كَثِيرَةٌ جِدّاً.

Shuaib: These are so many hobbies.

شِهَابٍ: هَذَا جَناحُ جَمْعِ الطَّوَابِعِ.

Shihab: This is the stamp collection pavilion.

شُعَيْبٍ: هَذِهِ طَوابِعُ جَمِيلَةٌ. هَذَا طَابَعٌ هِنْدِيٌّ، وَهَذَا طَابَعٌ فَرَنْسي.

Shuaib: These are beautiful stamps. This is an Indian stamp, and this is a French stamp.

شهاب: وهَذا جَناحُ الخَطِّ العربي.

Shehab: This is the Arabic calligraphy pavilion.

شُعَيْبٍ: هَذِهِ كَلِمَاتٌ بِخَطِّ النَّسْخِ، وَتِلكَ كَلِمَاتٌ بِخَطْ الرقعة.

Shuaib: These are words in Naskh script, and these are words in Ruq’ah script.

شهاب: وهَذا جَناحُ الصَّحافَةِ. 

Shehab: This is the press pavilion.

شُعَيْبٍ: وَهَذِهِ صُحُفٌ بِجَمِيعِ اللُّغَاتِ

Shuaib: These are newspapers in multiple languages.

شهاب: وهَذا جَناحُ التدبير المَنْزِلي.

Shihab: This is the housekeeping pavilion.
